The invitation is all around us but we must be open to see it. As you enter this immersive art exhibit I invite you to allow mental chatter to settle so your feeling and hearing senses can be opened to their receptive resonance. There is a language here that is our innate language and when mental energy is settled it is received and transmitted through the sensory realm of reality.

Most of our lives we are living in a reflection of reality— a mental landscape, believing we are separate beings moving through time and space.
This series is designed to create a space for the exploration beyond your limited mind, into the magic of your true nature, the innate curiosity of who you are. The formless interconnected dancing aliveness at the center of sensory experience that can only be found now.

I invite you approach with this question,
“Who Am I?”

Chaos theory explains that within the visible randomness of complex, chaotic systems, there are inherent repetition, patterns, self-organization, interconnectedness, self-similarity, and constant feedback loops.

“Colors of Consciousness” is a constant feedback loop, an exploration of how colors carry specific wavelengths and frequencies that can affect our physical, emotional, and mental states, vibrating with the symbolic nature that is naturally harmonious. Whatever this exhibit evokes in you please welcome it with space & compassion.

This series emerged through me as part of my healing journey, exploring chaos and directionlessness as I found myself lost in my life and grieving my deeply connected companionship with my beloved cat— my first daughter, Chanel. I found that when I fully feel and see color, any sense of separateness dissolves, I see this separateness as the root to all ignorance and suffering. I die into the sensory reality over and over again and in this death something heals. In this realm of reality I am always connected to her and therefore she is what I am. You are what I am. These paintings are about letting go into chaos, non-linearity and unpredictability, revealing clear feeling and seeing. The journey of unbecoming is the aliveness we are truly seeking.

I am often heartbroken when I look into the world and see how much suffering there is and I see this is caused by this belief in separateness and selfishness is born of this belief. That belief however is a formation of thought, so what are you when that thought goes? What are you when you’re not telling a story of who you are? That is the magic of the bold, bright vibrating chaotic aliveness of my paintings and what has been created in this space. I wish for you to know yourself beyond your mind as I know in my heart that shift in paradigm is how we change our world.
